Nachdem wir die letzten Tage kreuz und quer durch Tokio gerannt sind, uns neue Museen, Parks, Einkaufsmeilen und Restaurants angeschaut haben und dank apokalyptischem Hitzeklima herum schwitzten, machte ich heute mal ganz gepflegt einen auf Faulpelz und klickte mich so auf der Suche nach guten Online-Rollenspielen durch das Netz.
Ich bin ein großer MMORPG-Fan. Auch wenn ich ziemlich scheiße darin bin und nie auch nur ansatzweise das Maximallevel erreiche. “World of Warcraft” war lustig. Vor fünf Jahren. Aber das kannst du ja heute nicht mehr spielen. “EVE Online” probierte ich für ein paar Stunden aus, dann hatte ich keine Lust mehr, irgendwelche Welträume nach Gasen abzuscannen. “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” interessiert mich nicht, weil mir Laserschwerte und Darth Vader am Arsch vorbei gehen. Und “Diablo 3″ ist für Menschen, die keine Lust auf Intelligenzquotienten haben.
Damit war ich auch schon am Ende meiner Suche angelangt. Denn mehr gibt es auf dem Mac nicht. Browser- und Facebook-Spiele einmal außen vor gelassen, aber wer die intensiv spielt (und mich am besten auch noch mit dauernden Anfragen nervt), der soll doch eh bitte in ein anderes Internet auswandern.
Ich war schon fast so weit, mir irgendeins dieser neueren Online-Pokémon-Spiele für den Nintendo DS zu holen. Allerdings besitze ich keinen DS. Und wenn ich in hässlichen Foren schon Worte wie Mamutel, Quiekel und Cresselia höre, fange ich wieder fast an zu weinen und wünsche mich 13 Jahre in der Zeit zurück.
Also Leute. Ich brauche Vorschläge. Was spielt ihr denn so? Ich möchte am liebsten ein episches Fantasy-Abenteuer mit tollen Charakteren, spannenden Kämpfen, gigantischen Welten. In das ich immer mal wieder abtauchen kann. Bevorzugterweise das beste und aktuellste und beliebteste, das es gibt. Los!
In the last few days we ran across Tokyo, took a look at new museums, parks, shopping malls and restaurants and sweated around because of apocalyptic hot air. So today I was really lazy and searched on the Internet for some good role playing games.
I am a big fan of MMORPGs. Even though I pretty much suck and never even reach the maximum level. “World of Warcraft” was funny. Five years ago. But you can’t even play it anymore. I tried “EVE Online” for a few hours, but then I had no desire to scan stupid spaces for gas anymore. So I already reached at the end of my search. Because that’s all the stuff which is available for the Mac. Browser and Facebook games left outside of course, because who plays shit like this (and bugs me with requests), should please migrate to another Internet.
I was almost far enough to buy one of those newer online Pokémon games for the Nintendo DS. But first I don’t own a DS. And second, when I hear words in ugly forums such Mamoswine, Swinub and Cresselia, I start almost crying again and wish myself 13 years back into the past.
So people. I need suggestions. What are you playing? I want to have an epic fantasy adventure with great characters, exciting fights and giant worlds. Preferably the best and latest and most popular there is. Come on!
